Room Decontaminator in Japan

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

With the presence of H1N1 and recurrence of other flu types, schools in Japan are increasingly searching for ways to protect their pupils. As a consequence, provincial governments require detailed accounts of sick days registered for all primary and secondary schools, K through12. Upon analyzing its data for the start of the flu season this year, the provincial government of Osaka realized that certain kindergartens have had significantly lower incidence of sick days than expected.

The Osaka health department decided to investigate this anomaly and determined that the Kindergartens in question had all equipped their classrooms with the Xeralife Room Decontaminator Units (RDU). As a consequence, the Osaka provincial government is now equipping its classrooms with Xeralife Room Decontaminator Units as a means of protecting against flu outbreaks. Given the vulnerability of the young towards H1N1, this action is starting with Kindergartens throughout the state.

As such, the sales of Room Decontaminator Units which has averaged 500 units per month through 2009, is now expected to increase significantly.
