COMPARISONS
This section documents T-Zap based products compared to its nearest competitors.
Anti-bacterial products
As shown in the table below, T-Zap offers significant advantages over traditional chemical based solutions such as Chlorine.

Needs moisture and water to work |
It works in dry and wet conditions |
Chemicals attack a germ’s DNA. By altering their DNA structure, germs develop a resistance to chemicals – this is particularly the case for antibiotics |
Germs are incapable of developing resistance to T-Zap as the oxidation process decomposes cell walls. Germs have no possible defense against this form of attack |
Chemicals offer no adherence or stickiness factor. As such, germs can easily be removed from an applied material, resulting in cross-contamination |
Hydroxyapetite in T-Zap captures germs and will not release them. This stickiness factor effectively eliminates cross-contamination risks |
Anti-viral comparative test
The Japanese Chemical Fiber Association ran a test using MRSA (a multi-drug resistant form of Influenza A virus). T-Zap is effective in eliminating MRSA virus within a short period of time, same as other key anti-bacterial materials. However, it continues to be effective after a prolonged period of time.

Essentially, the test shows that Activated Carbon and PCO cease to be effective within one week. Also, T-Zap appears to offer slightly better results than Silver Ion.
Odor suppression comparison
Compared to traditional deodorizers and deodorants, T-Zap offers significant advantages as shown in the table below

T-Zap |
Active ingredients |
Blend of aroma and oils in Silica based gel |
Silver ion, Zeolite, Catechin, Chlorine and other chemicals |
Hydroxyapetite, Titanium Dioxide, Silver ion |
Product features |
Masks odors temporarily until aroma and oils disperse |
Only effective when diluted in water. Does not work in dry conditions |
Absorbs and decomposes all organic matter including odors, both under wet and dry conditions. It is long lasting. |
