Saves lives

T-Zap captures and decomposes all organic matter. Nothing resists it. It absorbs and eliminates all forms of Influenza, including potential fatal strains of Avian Flu. It prevents the spread of difficult to treat germs such multi-drug resistant Tuberculosis and MRSA.

Works where others won’t

TiO2 ’s strong oxidation capabilities are well known, and the product has been marketed as PCO (Photo-Catalytic Oxidizer) for the past 40 years. However, PCO has encountered only moderate market acceptance as it suffers the following drawbacks:

  1. It needs UV light to be effective
  2. It needs moisture to work
  3. It is very aggressive to any substrate upon which it is coated
  4. Due to its aggressive nature, it doesn’t last long.    

T-Zap represents a major step forward in using TiO2 as an effective and safe organic decontaminator.

  1. It doesn’t require light, so it works in all environments. In fact, it works best in dark, damp and warm conditions – ideal breeding grounds for organic contaminants such as bacteria, viruses, mold and fungus. This makes it most effective where danger is gravest
  2. Although moisture is preferred, it also works in dry environments such as modern, air-conditioned office buildings   
  3.  It can be applied to numerable products including air, water and on solids. On textile it acts as an ideal substrate for other additives such as UV protection
  4. It lasts a long time. On textiles, it can last up to 50 washes; coated on air filters, it is effective for up to 12 months; in water, anti-algae sheets for aquariums it lasts up to 18 months

Powerful

Titanium Dioxide is a very powerful oxidizer. This means that it will react readily and aggressively with organic compounds. As shown in the chart below. TiO2 is 200% more powerful than Chlorine and 150% more powerful than Hydrogen Peroxide.

Quick acting

T-Zap will decompose viruses in under 2 hours.

In a test conducted by Bio Medical Science Association in Japan, a T-Zap coated fabric was infected with one million Hong Kong Influenza virus  type-A cells and tested a set intervals to determine the rate of decomposition. In this experiment, the T-Zap coating had reduced the number of viruses to 250,000 within one hour and effectively decomposed all viruses within 2 hours. The untreated, control sample contained over 240,000 active virus cells after 2 hours.

Long Lasting

T-Zap is stable and long lasting with a shelf-life over 5 years

  • It is durable in textiles and lasts up to 50 washes
  • As a paint additive, it will absorb odors and organic contaminants for up to 5 years
  • In air purifiers, as a coating on HEPA filter, it lasts up to 36 months
  • As an odor sheet for confined spaces, it will last up to 12 months
  • As an anti-algae sheet in aquariums, it lasts up to 12 months

Multi-purpose

As T-Zap is available in liquid form, it can be applied to capture and decompose organic compounds in air, in water, on fabrics, on solid surfaces (as part of paint) and on skin.
