Water decontaminator system

If you need to sterilize large volume of water, such as pools and air-conditioning cooling towers, Xeralife Water Decontaminator System offers you a convenient and effective solution to safely eliminate germs, in particular Legionella, a waterborne bacteria that causes pneumonia with a fatality rate of 5% to 30%. 

Xeralife water decontaminator system is powered by the patented technology of T-Zap in combination with a UV light source. Developed and tested over the past 18 years in Japan, T-Zap eliminates organic contaminants effectively and safely. It traps and decomposes bacteria, viruses, fungus and algae in water.

T-Zap uses only natural ingredients, certified as food additive, and will not harm the environment. Contrary to chemical based germicides which impact an organic contaminant’s DNA structure, T-Zap attacks the cell’s walls. As such, viruses and bacteria are not able to build-up resistance. Also, once T-Zap decomposition is complete, only carbon dioxide and water are released into the environment.

A key advantage of the Xeralife water decontaminator system is that it diminishes the need for chemicals to treat the water, particularly Chlorine and Sodium Hypochlorite. This reduces environmental pollution and lowers skin irritation for bathers.

Test data

The following test was conducted in Japan by an independent laboratory:

1. filled 200 liters of tab water into a large tub
2. beer was added to the water to enhance contamination
3. Legionella bacteria and other waterborne bacteria were then added
4. the mixture was kept at a constant temperature of 40o C
5. mixture was pumped through the Xeralife Water Decontaminator System
6. samples were taken after every pass and bacterial content was measured

Note: within 24 hours, the Legionella content was < 10, down from an initial count of 210,000 cells

Xeralife capsules are powered by the patented technology of T-Zap. Developed and tested over the past 18 years in Japan, T-Zap eliminates organic contaminants effectively and safely. It traps and decomposes bacteria, viruses, fungus and algae in water.

Xeralife Water Decontaminator Capsules has been proven by the Japanese Food Hygiene Association to be effective in removing and preventing the growth of colon bacilli (E Coli) and cholera bacilli in water. Furthermore, it has been proven effective against Staphylococcus and Candida – the cause of yeast infections.

User instructions

• Use one Xeralife capsule for every 5 liters of water
• Use clear, running water. Not suitable for muddy, standing water that is highly contaminated
• Container should be clear or slightly tinted glass or PET – do not use dark container
• Put the Xeralife capsule into container with up to 5 liters of water per capsule, stir and let solution set for 10 minutes before using
• Avoid direct sunlight and total darkness – best to use in a normal interior light
• A single capsule maybe used up to 150 times or over a period of 6 months – whichever comes first
• Sterilized water maybe kept in container for up to 3 years.

Drinking water applications

• Sterilization of drinking water when travelling to countries with suspect tap water
• Sterilization of water when camping or trekking – note: source clear, running water only
• Long term storage for emergency drinking water supplies. Will protect water for up to 3 years.

Sterilization of fruit, vegetable and salad

• Simply insert produce into container together with water and the Xeralife capsule. Let stand for 10 minutes. Produce is then ready for consumption

Decontamination of baby bottles, pacifiers, plastic toys and other baby products

• Simply insert product into container together with water and Xeralife capsule. Stir and let stand for 10 minutes. Note: to avoid contamination once process is done, simply leave the product in the water until ready for use.

Aquarium decontaminator

If you own an aquarium or water feature, Xeralife Aquarium Decontaminator offers you a convenient and effective solution to prevent slime algae and bacteria growth. 

T-Zap has been tested and proven safe for saltwater and fresh water fish. However, with small fish, it is always best to first test their tolerance to the patch.
