APPLICATION - T-Zap in Textiles

General

T-Zap offers specific advantages for textiles.

  1. It is long lasting with a lifespan up to 50 washes
  2. Additives, such as UV protection, can be mixed into the coating to enhance overall properties and performance
  3. There are multiple ways to coat T-Zap – including screen printing, gravure printing and dipping of either yarn or finished textile
  4. It can be applied to almost all materials with the exception of silk, wool, nylon and polypropylene
  5. Existing textile based products such as bed linens, curtains and carpets can be coated with T-Zap for added protection in existing environments in hospitals, offices as well as at home

T-Zap active ingredients are certified as food grade, and will not harm the environment. Contrary to chemical based germicides which impact an organic contaminant’s DNA structure, T-Zap attacks the germ’s cell walls. As such, viruses and bacteria are not able to build-up resistance. Also, once decomposition is complete, only carbon dioxide and water are released into the environment.
